Showtraining in a club is a good way to train your dog and yourself-learn how a show works, what the titles and ribbons mean, how to stack your dog and to meet others sharing your interest and giving eachother advice.
Remember to use the best treats ( meatballs, ham, chicken..) and stop before your dog gets tired of it. Show training is very static and requires patience from both dog and owner. So it can be rather tiresome, and should not be pushed and repeated to the extent where the dog no longer thinks it's fun.
